I hate myself

We had to wate in so many liines. Huk said he would wait so I went to a musuem with  Ayden. We lerned alot about Abdar and banking. It was interesting but boring too. After that we went to look at another giuld. For all of the time that we spent not to much hapened. We walked thrugh the getto and Huke saw something weird about a kid. His family was in truble so we ran into there burning house and helped them. No we're fiting the mob. At least its entertaning to me.

Murdoc 3

we arive at the big trade city, talk to the moon crest food trade guils, took on a quest to kill bird like creatures who burned down a farm house fought the cheif who could suprisingly parry like me, huke stole my fight, FUCK MAN! i was having fun! went back to trade guild got 50gp then went to inn and got free food and room, FUCK YA!

Boat life

We boarded the boat today and it was interesting nice and gentle rocking but it hurt my penmanship oh well looks better this way. ANDDDD the storm hit… bleh so much vomit im glad i wasn't the only one having stomach problems. but once we got past the storm the water it was nice and clear the water got calm and we released from the main ship. A large blue fish appeared this day rather scary but Aiden said its a rather passive creature I made note of it in my journal to tell Tara perhaps she could make a lovely rendition of it. 2 days later we spot 3 ships and the group decided to sail towards them. There are more than 3 ships apparently they are tied together perhaps a floating fortress…taking note again in the journal… it is noticeably hard to write on a moving ship. We have docked at the port strange as it may seem the people are blue skinned yet they speak our language. I told the gentleman that we have some items to possibly trade he brought 4 more men 3 of his skin and 1 that looks like a kitty cat. Well Aiden has told the men that we are from and they will sending us to a place called Lanercoast. Many interesting things learned from these men, more of my people exist here and are at war with god touched people. The continent is called Northerum that is where the war lies.

Session 2 and 3 - Aiden

As the days here progressed up to the tournament, a few notable things have happened. First of which is that my team has settled on a general plan for our fights, and I managed to get Malevir to tell, not show, Huke what her spell was. Secondly, we managed to start up relations with another team, number 402. I do not personally have any connections with them, however it seems Huke has found a fellow Paladin of Iomadae in one of them, but at the cost of one rather… ever-drunk 'Bard'.
As the tournament comes, however, it seems we were matched against them. Team 707, us, versus team 402, them. I wish them luck.


It was a hard-fought battle, but we- Team 707- emerged the victors in the battle against our friends of team 402. In hindsight, however, we still have a ways to go with our teamwork and communication. Let us hope that does not bring us an untimely demise. It seems that Father managed to get one last letter to me, as well as a gift for the journey- A finely crafted sword, decorated with the name and crest of the family. It was a great piece of work, not only in design, as the weight was much more balanced, the blade much sharper, than the old one I had used earlier. It shall serve me well.

Despite losing against us, Team 402 still agreed to pair with us in braving the Spellstorm. It is a relief to know there are no hard feelings. With that settled, and no major happenings at the ball, it was time fo us to set off. I will not see these lands again for a year, I wonder how they may look when we return. Will it all look the same, or will it feel like we've returned to a new world after a year in a completely different one?

It is time for us to explore what no one we know has seen before, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead. May we all find what we are searching for.

Murdoc 2

we trained alot, we made friends with team 402, we went out to find a sponsor for the tournament (that didnt go so well, huke might try and shoot both the shop keepers we met) but the alcamist did say he would give us some stuff for the trip and alcemical stuff to make potions, so in the end we took his sponcer ship and (left the drow poision) and now we prepair for the tournament fight, sadly its vs. team 402 but it will be Fun to see what they can do.

The outside is so... strange

It is an interesting world outside the manor. The road to this city was beautiful so many sights to see and things to do. The city itself is rather confusing random dead ends and such… I'm surprised that I even made it all the way to the compound where everyone was gathering. A girl like me could get very lost in a town like this. Once at the compound I just followed some people in and found my way to where groups were decided. Apparently we have to do some test to even be able to go on the other side. I was hoping this would have been much easier than that oh well. The group I'm paired with is…something… an elf with some sort of chirping creature she seems to have a similar up bringing as me; Two halfings I think they are called… or is it gnomes? well either way they are rather eccentric and one has a thing for the little chirping creature. The last is a human male, he seems to carry himself well enough.

Our first test to see if we could work as a team to get through an obstacle course which seemed like it would be pretty easy…except for the eccentric halfing wanting to show off, not sure why but he and the other one decided it would be a good idea to race through a field of archers firing paint arrows. eventually we made it through the trial and were sent to class. class was more of an orientation than an actual class. Fancy room though… can summon into existence target dummies to train on. The archer halfing asked to see what i could do so i decided to put a lovely charm spell on him and make him sit. HE FELL FOR IT HAHAHAHAHA. It was great. I don't very much remember the rest of the day other than the fact that I went for a walk in the flower garden outside and saw the elf and her creature again.

Day 1 - Aiden's Letter
First Session's Journal

Hello, Father, how have you been? I hope all has been well the past week since I last wrote. You already know that I have agreed to join in on the journey across the Spellstorm in the Transpercer. I have said my farewells to Mother and assured her that all would be well. But now, as I promised, I will relay to you what has happened today.

We first arrived in a large, open room, an auditorium, I believe. There were a few hundred people gathered from many different backgrounds, they even brought in a few convicts… Such a diverse amount to brave the unknown. A man came up to speak, he did not speak very long, nor did he seem to want to speak at all. All that he had said was what we knew already, so I'll spare the details. Then they began to group us, and roughly five minutes had passed until my name was called. They did not call out either of my two surnames, perhaps for the better. I'd rather an issue not come up for me being known as a bastard. 

As for my team, they are quite an interesting bunch. For one, I am the only Human in our group, amongst an elf, two halflings, and even a tiefling! I am aware they are known to not have the greatest intentions, but Malevir seems fairly friendly. I believe her surname is somewhat familiar, would you happen to known the name 'Firelust,' Father? The elf is Ayla, and appears to be an archer with a connection to nature. Her companion is perhaps as interesting as Malevir is, some sort of creature that I'm sure was extinct in this day and age, who she calls Archer. I wonder if that is an attempt at irony? One of the halflings, apparently an ex-sailor, named Merdoc seemed to take a quick liking to it. Funny thing, though, he did not seem too skilled at the activities you would expect sailors to do often. Last is the other halfling, a paladin of Iomedae. His name is Huke, and he seems to be a great man, in heart if not in height.

We were led to a room that we would share as a team, which isn't too large, but spacious enough. We all were given uniforms of our nation's colors, and had some time to introduce ourselves before we were called for our first activity. That activity was an obstacle course, likely to test our group's physical prowess. It did not start too well, Merdoc specifically did not manage well with getting across a tightrope. After we got past that, it was a test of getting straight through archer fire without getting hit. The halflings immediately tried simply sprinting through, but failed miserably. After that, Huke and I grabbed two tower shields and used them as cover as we moved forward with everyone else behind us. Next was getting through a hole suspended 5 feet high in a web. We managed to get most everyone through by having myself boost them up so they could go through without problem. Oddly enough, Ayla had the most trouble. Of course, the only one I could not boost was myself, and I had to get through through by my own, aside from being pulled through after making it halfway through the hole. The last physical test was balancing ourselves over a pit on a long plank held up only by a post halfway through the pit. I held the plank steady and most everyone passed through, then crossed myself while Huke held it from the other side. The only thing after that was a simple puzzle that my party solved in mere seconds.

After it was over, we were summoned to a classroom, where not much of a 'class' took place, but more of a briefing of what would take place in the following days before we are to finally pierce the Spellstorm. A tournament between teams is to take place on the seventh day, and I've a feeling that you will soon be, if you have not already been, notified of. Perhaps you could attend and finally see for yourself what my fighting style has evolved into. On the tenth day we will set out for the unexplored lands, and will not return for a year. I hope for a chance to visit you one last time between the Tournament and then.

After said briefing, we were left to spend the day as we pleased until dinner. We began by introducing ourselves in a different way, showing each other what we could do that would come in use in fights, however, I will not disclose the details of that yet. When it came time for dinner, we were led to a rather huge cafeteria. The selection of food wasn't bad, but nothing compared to what you would dine on. A small conflict happened amongst some of the other groups, some man rather angered by the presence of convicts, but it was resolved before anything truly happened.

After dinner, my team went off to do our separate activities, mine being the writing of this letter, and Huke went off the do prayers. I'm not too sure where everyone else went off to. Regardless, that is how the day went, hopefully that disclosure is enough to sate your curiosity. I will write to you again before the tournament.

Murdoc Day 1

Today was rather interesting, we started boot camp to train for the adventure through the Spell storm. we where assigned groups and told to do a team building obstacle course, after the obstacle course we went to a training room to train for a tournament that is the end of the week

the team was pretty cool, but the pet was AWESOME!!! its a creature i have never seen before and it let me ride him and its only slightly taller than me!

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few tips:

1. Invite your players

2. Edit your home page

Make a few changes to the home page and give people an idea of what your campaign is about. That will let people know you’re serious and not just playing with the system.

3. Choose a theme

If you want to set a specific mood for your campaign, we have several backgrounds to choose from. Accentuate it by creating a top banner image.

4. Create some NPCs

Characters form the core of every campaign, so take a few minutes to list out the major NPCs in your campaign.

A quick tip: The “+” icon in the top right of every section is how to add a new item, whether it’s a new character or adventure log post, or anything else.

5. Write your first Adventure Log post

The adventure log is where you list the sessions and adventures your party has been on, but for now, we suggest doing a very light “story so far” post. Just give a brief overview of what the party has done up to this point. After each future session, create a new post detailing that night’s adventures.

One final tip: Don’t stress about making your Obsidian Portal campaign look perfect. Instead, just make it work for you and your group. If everyone is having fun, then you’re using Obsidian Portal exactly as it was designed, even if your adventure log isn’t always up to date or your characters don’t all have portrait pictures.
