Mestraonia is a citystate featuring the peak of the nations magic and sciences. Two elements coming together to form the hodgepodge costal city. One part wind swept stone, one part gears and oil, and another part shear stone the city is quite a marvel. There is a certain beauty in the mix, but to the cities management who must fix the lack of past design goals and work out infrastructure the city can be quite the challenge. On the ground you might find yourself traveling down a main road only to end up facing a wall of stone. Markets crammed into small spaces, wizard towers build up and out, and grease being spilt into a town park are sadly common sights. For all the negatives of the city there is a certain wonder in it as well. For so many different groups and ideas to come to work together to form a community.
Recently Mestraonia has set it's sights Eastward to the ocean and the spellstorm. Using the cities unique abilities to combine magic, engineering, and sheer resilience the nation was able to create a vessel that was able to pierce the storm and arrive on the other side intact. Since the first successful breach of the of the storm Mestraonia has been developing a larger craft that will be able to pierce through the storm and carry with it smaller crafts that can be used to scout out what lies on the other side. Transpercer a craft unequaled in all the land. Big enough to house 6 sailing ships as well as it's own crew. Soon Mestraonia will be reaching out to new lands in search of power, resources, and perhaps alliances.
